I gained my initial knowledge and training with Norwich Union and ultimately became the Senior Group Pension Consultant based in Manchester.
I became an independent financial adviser in 1995 after having qualified as an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute. I became a Director of the Manchester based firm and then set up and ran a self employed practice from 2001 to 2009.
I joined Chancellor Financial Management in June 2009 and helped set up the Employee Benefit Division shortly having qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner with the PFS and CII.
